Let’s see, a violent unprovoked attack on an Asian that was apparently not motivated by robbery is not being investigated as a hate crime, and a description of the suspect has not been released. Conclusion: the perp is black.
The Asians (including women) need to increase their karate/kung fu/judo/ju-jitsu/tae kwon do and other martial arts skills. These crazies roaming the streets need to start fearing a beating from the Asians.
Pure animal jealousy.
In this specific type of incident (as distinguished from plain old assault and robbery), the attacker usually strikes from ambush without any previous interaction and does not take any of the victim’s property. The attack is solely intended to inflict injury on a random victim falling into a specific class: Asians.
Why?
I agree with number 3 on your list: resentment. And I think your assessment “ these people, perceived as immigrants, are doing far better than the black population” goes someway to explain it.
Where I would add some nuance is that it starts within a specific subset of the black population: inner city, unemployed/underemployed, poorly educated, younger, single, blacks (mostly men). But not everyone in even this narrowly drawn group behaves this way, so what (or who) is fueling this behavior?
Although I have no first hand knowledge/evidence, I would suggest looking to that frequent source of really bad ideas: social media. If you can isolate and radicalize middle class Muslim youth and get them to commit terrorist acts, it should be relatively simple to convince an already in trouble, angry person to believe someone else “stole” their opportunities and punish them for doing so.
Of course, information to confirm or rebut this assertion is not going to be reported even if it is developed as part of the investigation. Why? You really need to ask?
These savage thugs are not looking for Asians, they are looking for vulnerable victims.
