A man brazenly swiped a whole aisle worth of steaks at a Trader Joe's on East 14th Street in Manhattan.

“They come in every day, sometimes twice a day, with laundry bags and just load up,” a clerk at an about-to-close New York chain drug store told this newspaper recently. “They take whatever they want, and we can’t do anything about it.”

Post a sign that looters will be shot. And then shoot some of them.

I distinctly recall a video shot from a NYC apartment during the BLM riots.

“Youths” on bicycles would scout, then break into a store. A high-end SUV would pull up, they’d load it up. They’d all scatter, then a few minutes later repeat the process at the next store.

It had all the earmarks of an organized crime, with big money backing it.
