How quickly can the Norks optimize the Chinese AI and clean out your account?
Or maybe the kid down the street gets lucky?

If it can’t scale out, FOR WHATEVER REASON, its a dead man walking.Or a niche store of value with new blockchain-based applications keeping it on life support. That's worked pretty well for a couple of years now, but Ethereum has taken over applications, and many cheaper competitors are vying for Ethereum's space. For just transactions, lightning is gaining some followers, as a layer 2 on bitcoin. Lightning still has a lot of issues, but looks more promising lately.

I hope you’re right.
I don’t trust these bastards in Washington as far as I can throw them, however.

All this talk of nationalized 'digital currencies', the implication that such would work in a manner akin to BTC, which, of course, we know the exact opposite will be true. Centralized control and total monitoring of every transaction, large and small.
A statist's wet dream come true.
