“An Act to require each school board to offer in-person instruction to students enrolled in the local school division; exceptions permitted.”
Thanks.
Says nothing about masks.
You really should think about getting out more.
” For the purposes of this act, each school board shall (i) adopt, implement, and, when appropriate, update specific parameters for the provision of in-person instruction and (ii) provide such in-person instruction in a manner in which it adheres, to the maximum extent practicable, to any currently applicable mitigation strategies for early childhood care and education programs and elementary and secondary schools to reduce the transmission of COVID-19 that have been provided by the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.”
The CDC requires masks.
“The CDC requires masks.”
Thanks, great follow-up.
CDC source?
Law that allows CDC to “require” masks.
Law wherein CDC requires masks.
Judge Louise DiMatteo must have got F’s in science must be a liberal.
What am I? Your search engine?
This is from the CDC website for guidance to schools: “CDC recommends universal indoor masking by all students (ages 2 years and older), staff, teachers, and visitors to K-12 schools, regardless of vaccination status.”
So there is the guidance.
The Virginia law says the school board “shall (i) adopt, implement, and, when appropriate, update specific parameters for the provision of in-person instruction and (ii) provide such in-person instruction in a manner in which it adheres, to the maximum extent practicable, to any currently applicable mitigation strategies for early childhood care and education programs and elementary and secondary schools to reduce the transmission of COVID-19 that have been provided by the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.”
Where is the mystery in this for you? If the CDC recommends masks for school kids the local school board can require it. The governor has no power to override that.
Anything else you want me to find for you?
“What am I? Your search engine”
You made a claim.
I am examining it.
“So there is the guidance
Guidance is not requirement.
You used the word “required”.
You asserted CDC requires masks.
CDC does not require masks.
CDC “recommends” masks.

You’ve been proven wrong.
With this one sentence the CDC has lost all credibility to dispense medical advice. The statement reveals clearly that the CDC operates under the pretense they are "following the science" while in actuality they follow neither physical nor medical science and are instead practicing "political science." There is no realistic or effective defense to this charge.
The legislature did not pass a law mandating masks
They passed a law saying local school boards could.
It’ll be interesting to see it appealed
One thing for sure judge was supposed to rule on the law not whether or not she approves masking ....which she just couldn’t help herself
I said, “Where is the mystery in this for you? If the CDC recommends masks for school kids the local school board can require it. The governor has no power to override that.”
You lose.
If the Court of Appeals reverses the judge, please let me know.

No.
In 23 you wrote.
"The CDC requires masks."
Exact quote.
Entire basis for your "argument" was "CDC requires masks", which is not true.
Keep digging that hole.
Hee hee.
You funny.
It’s not required by CDC.
You premise was wrong.
