Does anyone else see some of the on air “talent” going out like Howard Beale did in “Network?” Except a lot more un-hinged.
I strongly dislike CNN and what it stands for today. But I am an octogenarian and can remember when CNN was the “go-to” when you needed to know what was happening. If you were on the international circuit “back then”, CNN International was what you turned to when you were out of the country. (I often regretted I could only get CNN International outside the country). It WAS, believe it or not, at one time a very credible news source. Amazing to see what “leftism” can do to things over the years, CNN today is unrecognizable. I, for one, would love to see them become once again the most trusted name in news ... unfortunately, I think they have “fried the egg”.
Rumor has it that it’ll go back to being a straight news network.
