If I have learned anything in the last two years, particularly with the COVID reactions on the part of Western governments, it is that none of the so-called Western democracies, as well as the blue states and cities in this country, do not respect individual freedom and civil liberties. Granted, the Germans are among the worst, as the issue of forbidding unauthorized schools has nothing to do with COVID, but no Western European or British Commonwealth country has been free of oppression.

From reading about German homeschooling problems previously most Germans believe kids belong to the state not the parents. So I am not surprised how the police behaved.
