---- :"If Russia decides to weaponize its supply of natural gas or crude oil, it wouldn't be without consequences to the Russian economy," a senior US official told reporters." AFP

Looking a little closer at the sentence the AFP allowed into its warmongering, one notes that the sentence means NOTHING.

There are consequences to everything, including a US president soiling himself and farting in front of British aristocracy. Putting the phrase into the negative -- "wouldn't be without consequences" -- makes the verbiage all the more long and stinky.

Shut down a pipeline here and there is what Biden did, so Russia could just imitate as a "sincerest form of flattery."

A "senior US official" without a name is just another "expert," just another unnamed source, just another official non-official. So much for the AFP.

You wrote, "Russia is a gas station with nukes. A third-world s*hole. Crude was $50 when Brandon was sworn in, near $90 today. If you really want to keep Putin in check, DRILL BABY DRILL."

Total applause coming your way. Take a bow!

I certainly agree with Drill Baby Drill and with the criticism of Biden.

In terms of Russia being 3rd world, I have never been there. But I have looked on Google Maps at random locations in Russia and the street view photographs generally look a lot better than I would have been led to believe. Other Freepers might want to try that and see what they think.

Russia is a gas station with nukes. A third-world s*hole.

The US isn’t far behind sticking its nose into things it shouldn’t and when push comes to shove it leaves you high and dry.

That is somewhat true. The average yearly income in Russia one quarter the US, and Commie China is about one-fifth. So as consumer economies -- including housing, energy and food -- they are not measuring up yet.

Something else is also true. All the countries of the world have gorgeous natural gifts. Scenery and natural wonders. And from the 12 nations i have worked, some very nice people, alongside the assholes. It is the governments that screw things up. Biden's is doing well in screwing things up bigly.

The first thing Biden did was weaponize oil production in America when he took office.

Give them the tools and tell them not to use them.

Nice try, Joe.

“We’re working with countries, companies around the world to ensure the security of supply and to mitigate against price shocks”

Judging by my local Walmart, Paul Pelosi should buy oil futures.

A Russian woman will cook a $5 meal for her family.

An American family might eat out at $18/person.

Unlike Los Angeles, nobody in Moscow normally sleeps in a tent.

Sure, Joe. “If you continue to weaponize energy I’ll...I’ll...I’ll beg the Saudis to raise production, that’s what I’ll do! Oh, and we’ll build more windmills. So you just better watch it.” Putin is trembling.

“attempts by Moscow to “weaponize” its enormous oil and gas industry would backfire.”

and

“We are prepared to implement sanctions with massive consequences”

let me see if i understand your position here, Covid Joe: If russia refuses to sell the western nations their oil and gas, then we’ll retaliate by refusing to buy russian oil and gas? ... have i got that right? ...

I, for one look forward to the Russkies marching into Ukraine and doing whatever they want. I have plenty of popcorn at the ready.

First, it makes Brandon look like an international dunce Who’s laughable and disastrous press conference might have sped up these events.

Last, Brandon has NO LEVERAGE and the majority of the voting public will see the old man getting bent over and fully committing to being Putins Biatch.

I hope Xi Jinping doesn’t get upset and jealous over sharing his American Puppet.

Gee, if only the US had their own pipeline so we wouldn’t have to count on enemies to meet our energy needs.

“Why not? The US has weaponized everything against its own citizens!”

Two great points in this statement.

It is fine for the Democrats to weaponize everything.

The Democrats weaponize against our country.

I would not doubt it in the least. I still believe 1000% the Rat/RINO uniparty was behind the release of Covid solelyto get Trump out of office, so starting a war means nothing to these scumrats. If millions die so be it

Long term, if the Russia gets Ukraine those pipelines that now go through Ukraine can just go through Russia. It may be worth the cost.
