A total of 140 House Republicans and Democrats are lobbying President Joe Biden to cut United States tariffs on billions of dollars worth of China-made imports.
Last month, Breitbart News exclusively reported how Reps. Darin LaHood (R-IL), Jackie Walorski (R-IN), Ron Kind (D-WI), and Rep. Suzan DelBene (D-WA) were courting lawmakers to sign their letter to U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) Katherine Tai — urging her to allow more “made in China” imports to avoid U.S. tariffs. The Section 301 tariffs on billions of dollars worth of China-made products were first imposed by former President Trump after a decades-long free trade consensus in Washington, D.C., that has eliminated 3.7 million American jobs from the U.S. economy from 2001 to 2018.
Though the Biden administration is set to preserve most of the China tariffs, Tai is currently reviewing more than 500 China-made products that could become excluded from the tariffs.
The letter, now signed by 140 House Republicans and Democrats, includes the signatures of House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) as well as Reps. Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-WA), Burgess Owens (R-UT), Nicole Malliotakis (R-NY), Ken Buck (R-CO), Young Kim (R-CA), and Anthony Gonzalez (R-OH), among others.

I am actually thankful that Biden is doing this one thing right. If I could work my will on that senile old goat, I would get him to apply tariffs of at least 25% to all Chinese-made imports.
As Pat Buchanan said, GOP and Dems are the two wings on the same bird of prey.

Comment I just sent to the White House:
“Dear Mr. President:
“I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I actually agree with you about allowing tariffs on Red Chinese imports to remain in place. As it is, a number of GOP and Democrat congressmen, engaging in a bit of bi-partisan [censored] of the American people, want to remove some of these tariffs. These people suck. Red China is our enemy, no doubt about it.
“So, instead of giving in to the pleas of these globalist, job-exporting douchebags, I would strongly urge you to tariff all Red Chinese goods to the tune of at least 25%. Call it the National Security Premium on PRC-made goods, if you will. If your or I wish to buy a Red Chinese-made good, then we would pay the National Security Premium. The proceeds from this tariff could be used to strengthen our military and national security stance against our great enemy, Red China.
“Thank you for your consideration.”
Not that Biden, at this point, could even comprehend what I’m saying, necessarily, but I sent it anyway.

We wouldn’t have any tariffs on China today, if it wasn’t for Trump.
And Biden sure isn’t going to rock the boat. It’s amazing Biden has held onto the tariffs this long.
