You knew Obrador was in the cartels pockets when he would campaign totally care free, no worries at all about getting taken out.

It’s the kind of video clip that surfaces on social media now and then, offering a glimpse of outlandish happenings in Mexico.

It will soon be here. America is looking like a third world country as we do not prosecute crimes. Neither does Mexico.

“Ebrard had previously suggested that about $25 billion in U.S. investment would be an appropriate figure for what Mexicans and Central Americans have dubbed “The Alliance for Prosperity” in the region.”

That would be used like the Clinton’s Haitian relief fund money. 98% to untraceable destinations and 2% to address the stated purpose.

Simply create a 50 mile buffer zone (DMZ)...Shoot anything that moves in that zone.

If only we had the stomach for effective solutions like this.

Arrest and imprison everyone who shows-up at local School Board meetings. That’ll work.

“Simply create a 50 mile buffer zone (DMZ), beginning at the southern border. Shoot anything that moves in that zone. Solves so many problems.”

A 50 mile wide free fire zone from the pacific to the gulf works for me!
Any towns in that free fire zone will have to move to safe ground or pay the price. Bulldoze the buildings and build bases for the troops guarding the border.

It is OK. We have magical soil that makes everyone peaceful freedom loving law abiding taxpayers as soon as they cross the border.

My observation over the last 20 years is that the justice system only seeks to prosecute those who help the “system.” Like help prosecutors build their reputations and feed the criminal justice system through hiring attorneys, probation officers, prisons/prison staff. And it's just gotten worse over the years.

The criminal justice system has no interest in criminals who are destitute with no means of supporting their LE business model.

“Their principles run contrary to our own principles and values. They tolerate horrific violence and crimes against their vulnerable citizens.

We should view them as an enemy, and treat them as such.”

You must mean the Democrats. I give you Chicago and the other Dem run cities as proof.

Why should we give up any US territory? Build the buffer zone on Mexican soil.

I realize I didn’t specify that. Sorry.
Because of the duplicity and corruption at all levels of government in Mexico they would have to give up the buffer zone AND the Baja California Peninsula and any associated islands.
Any Mexican towns in the zone would be razed and the inhabitants shipped to the Mexican side of the Zone.

The Free Fire Zone of Death would be patrolled by US army and the USMC. It would include fences, observation towers, anti personnel mines and any other bit of nastiness that can be used including armed drones.
Standing ROE would be if its human and not ours it dies.
Carcasses would be left out for the wildlife.

Although they should cede Baja to the US in payment for past debts (good luck getting past the screams of “colonialism” if it were ever proposed, though) all that is really needed is a real border wall/fence and sufficient on-the ground Border Patrol/National Guard enforcement. The Federal Government’s deliberate refusal to support the border states is grounds for withholding all Federal taxes collected in those states, in my opinion. Texas should stop paying first - and dare the Biden Administration to do anything about it.

Yes, we should have taken Baja during the Mexican American war and included it in the Treat of Guadalupe Hidalgo.
Good luck getting anything done now.

Allowing the rats to not fund the building of the wall while President Trump was in office is squarely on the shoulders of the RINO’s. They knew the next democrat administration would scrap any unbuilt sections and double the flow of invaders.

“The Federal Government’s deliberate refusal to support the border states is grounds for withholding all Federal taxes collected in those states, in my opinion. Texas should stop paying first - and dare the Biden Administration to do anything about it.”

Well good luck with that as well.
Unfortunately the states get too much money from FedGov for any state to attempt that. Although Texas might be just the state to give it a whirl.
At this point...what do they have to lose?
