The FACT is that as long as the GOP hierarchy is comprised of people like Ronna McDaniel (Mitt Romney’s niece) nothing will change.

VA is a perfect example of the big lie, people are screaming that the Republicans did great in the Gov race. While Youngkin did alright (300,000 less votes than Trump), what gave him the election was the Dems lost almost a million voters (over 800,000) from the election a year prior. Sure, there is a drop-off in participation between the two types of races, but not 800,000 ONE Party drop-off.

Basically, Republicans were serious about voter fraud in the Gov race with poll watchers and lawyers throughout the voting process. Monitor the Polls and mail-in ballots and millions of Dem voters will disappear.

Republicans tend to compromise and surrender, which usually enrages their loyal base of small donors and grassroots supporters.

It's the old RINO branch, the bush leaguers who seek bipartisanship by giving in to half of the outrageous demands of the left at every step, provided they get a little something in their cup to warm their spiritw.

And, don't paint the loyal base as this small fringe group. It has been large enough to drive the RINOs insane and into the hell that they deserve.

I would suspect that ‘21-’22 is a “wave year”. The Democeats went too far left so they will get punished in November. Sinema and Manchin appear to recognize that so they’ve slammed the brakes on Democeats’ disastrous agenda.

Meanwhile we really need to worry about Putin’s threat to our plans to expand NATO up to his border. That is our number one international priority while Swalwell sleeps with known Chinese spies.

Yes, you are exactly right. For once, the Republicans took the issue of voter fraud seriously, with teams of lawyers and poll watchers.

It is one of the reasons that Donald Trump was elected President of the United States in 2016 and 2020.

fixed it

Right.

Fortunately, that disastrous trend ended in November of 2021 with the election of Republicans to the top three statewide positions and the GOP taking control of the Virginia House of Delegates. Republicans beat the heavily favored Democrats and won these elections in a series of massive upset victories by focusing on education, inflation, and public safety ballot box safety.

These victories showed Republicans across the country the blueprint for how to win and turn the tide against the liberal Democrats. In the 2021 election, the GOP took back the education issue from the Democrats in Virginia. For decades, Democrats won on the issue of education by focusing on teacher pay, spending more money on school facilities and growing the government bureaucracy watched the ballot boxes and sent lawyers to the precincts.

In the election of 2021, Republicans won by standing with parents against teachers and administrators who were peddling the damaging Critical Race Theory curriculum to their children. Republicans maintained that it was parents who had primary authority over their children, not educational bureaucrats making sure the Demoscat vote factories got shut down.

fixed it

We have a winner.

This was the highest turnout of any VA gubernatorial election ever. In losing, McAuliffe actually got more votes this time around than he got the last time he ran and won.

Youngkin was successful in that he threaded the needle with retaining Trump's MAGA base and appealing to frustrated NoVa suburban voters to whom Trump is toxic. This should be the blueprint going forward.

I'd support a Youngkin presidential run except right now he's got way too much work fixing Virginia, hopefully making it more like Florida.

All Toto in The Wizard of Oz did was bark at the man behind the curtain, which is all he could do.

Are you no aware of the ways of Brandonton, DC?

Youngkin picked the right fights with his first EO’s.

Let’s see how serious he is about enforcement. Arlington Schools are defying his order on masks.

Nah.

Massive vote fraud. It's easy to see, if you know HOW to look.

I have developed a tool I call "Obama 2008 Luminol".

The Demoscats fold vote fraud into every "election".

The one time they screwed up was in their enthusiasm to elect the first black Resident. They set voting records for the Halfrican in 2008.

Joek 2020 and Shrillary 2016 only beat those records in areas where the Scats were cheating.

BushCountry has posted numerous times about the hinky numbers in the critical states.

Why the Democrats seem to be almost always set the agenda. Republicans seems to be the reactive party, either opposing, or modifying Democratic proposals, sometime actually canceling.
Why not go on offensive and make proposal on their own!
This is actually quite rare.

I have said this before and i will say it again..
We, conservatives that is, have been handed a golden opportunity.
Anything with an R after it is going to get elected. This throws the old “He or she is unelectable” argument right out the window.

Time to clean house.
Every bush league chamber of commerce worshiping republiCAN’T needs to be primaried.

I think this hits it out of the park!! Yet the Romney/McConnell/Bush wing of the party want to return to the status quo of partial surrender. They think by ridding themselves of Trump every voter will return to the old way.

Such nonsense.

Republicans can no longer govern by making corrupt deals with progressive Democrats and trying to impress their enemies in the left-wing media. GOP voters want to save America and Republican Party elected officials must lead or get out of the way.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Which means we MUST STOP re-electing Bush League Republicans.
All they will ever be is Assistant Democrats.
