They are not unelectable. Most of us would still support them. We will be stuck this year with Thune, Hoeven, overdone Grassley. Then there are the others who toy with us from time to time. Think Rubio, Crapo, Lankford. Will any go the way of Cassidy or Rounds in their backstabbing of Trump? Those 2 are with us for 6 years.

I actually do sense a change in attitudes here.
Right after the 2020 election, people were so angry with the Republicans that they didn’t care what the Democrats would do if they took power. I’d argue until I was red in the face, but they were convinced voting for a Republican is always voting FOR a Republican, rather than often voting AGAINST a Democrat.
I’d try to tell them that they don’t have to sleep with the Republican they vote for, leave their kid unattended with the Republican, or even have a beer with the guy...but it didn’t matter.
Now...I guess with a taste of what can happen with truly evil people running the country, they are starting to come around a bit.
