Lol!
I thought that California has draconian environmental regulations that effectively eliminate any truck that’s more than three years old to drive in that state. I also remember reading that approximately 600 trucking concerns either went out of business or declared bankruptcy last year. The government is causing this.
With these type of articles I have been think the same as you. What ever crud was going around, unless you were gaging up thick green you went to work and did not shake hands.
If the empty shelves are because of hysteria over sniffles, this is pathetic. I know this is all planned by our superiors but..... pathetic.
Why Covid has escaped me is beyond me. I’ve barely missed a beat in the last 2 years. I am just not going to live my life in fear. If I get the flu, or the shingles, or pneumonia, fine, it’s par for the course. To me, Covid is no different. Of course, I’ve never been on a ventulator.
Do you mean 2020 or 2021?
2021
Keep acting like that--actually delivering goods and services to your customers--and you will become a large-sized grocery chain!
Back when I was about 18, I was a grease monkey for a small trucking company in Salt Lake City. Because of my job, I occasionally had to drive the trucks in and out of the garage area, through truck washes, and stage them for their routes after I fueled them. I actually drove double- and triple-trailered rigs around our lot. I have much respect for guys and gals that do that full time, especially coming up and down some of the canyons out west.
