Simple, they’re not idiots.
So in the long run, it seems to me that the Dems will lose total votes, due to the Hispanic population growing, and the black population stuck on 13% (for decades now).
Now, since I used 65/35 as the worse case, can you imagine if it were 60/40 or 55/45?
And you are right, black Americans, for the most part, will never figure it out -- Hispanic population, I have a little more faith in.
I’m assuming that the millions of illegals coming over the border are ending up in Hispanic-majority neighborhoods. I don’t see how that sits well with legal citizens and green-card holders.
That’s a myopic and incorrect take on the election. Ronald Reagan’s 84 coalition was far larger, so was Nixon’s 72 coalition.
It’s insane to think all is lost. Particular as a red wave is about to crest.
RINOs do not a “Red Wave” make.
Except the clown definition of “RINO” is anything but.
Let’s try an exercise.
What makes someone a “RINO?”
Is there a certain vote score cutoff? Certain issues?
We need to define our terms clearly.
Can you do it with a vote score from an organization like the ACU? Or someone other quantifiable metric? Or is it, “I just like to label things when there isn’t 100% lockstep Stalinesque agreement with me on every single issue without exception.”
If it’s the later, what do you think about Trump’s vaccine take and his position on bump stocks?
And unlike our youth, Latinos have not been propagandized by the left since pre-school.
I like your analysis and I hope you are correct. "Our Democracy" can't take much more of this.
I have my doubts. This might be propaganda to prop up pro-illegal alien Republicans. Last I did any research on the topic, Hispanics were using almost as much government welfare as the blacks, with the exception that they are not fans of government housing.
Yes, their voting is better than the blacks, but we still always lose them. Except in maybe Texas and Florida, the latter thanks to Cubans, the election results in every state have been lopsided Hispanics 60% Dem, 40% Republican (or around numbers like that), going back many many elections without any change whatsoever.
And, meanwhile, millions of illegal aliens are storming over the border, not learning any English, and plopping out babies who get on welfare, don’t learn any English, and start voting pure Dem at the age of 18 (not to mention the parents illegally voting).
But we’re supposed to believe it’s now 50/50? Sounds like BS to me. Let’s see some actual elections with those results to back it up.
Originally, it was any Republican who was pro-abortion. Poster child was Arlen Spectre. In the Trump Era, it has come to mean any Republican who hates Trump. Poster child is Lizard Cheney.
“At this rate, Democrats wiil be more gung ho for finishing the wall and immigration enforcement than Trump ever was....”
That actually was the case not long ago. Republicans wanted illegal immigration to put pressure on unions, and it worked, and the unions deserved it. But the problem with immigrants (legal or otherwise) is that they eventually vote, and the Democrats had much more contact with them in LaHood and they were voting that way. Then Bush Jr. opened the floodgates due to the fake housing boom during his term (he called it the ‘ownership society’...although it was more like the ‘bankrupt society’), and the Democrats salivated at the thought of Hispanics voting like blacks and the parties flipped at the grassroots as lower/middle class whites rightly felt threatened by the hordes coming in (at the top, Republicans of course still wanted open borders). Trump saw the disconnect and swooped-in.
The (apparent) mistake by the Democrats with Hispanics is that they consider them to be no different than blacks - meaning that they can abuse them, wreck their families, wreck their communities, and still get their votes - simply by stirring up racial tensions just before elections. But, unfortunately for Democrats, Hispanics are not that easy to fool...
Specter was liberal on more things than abortion. He also was a turn coat and became what he actually was.
So under my definition, people like Specter and Jeffords were definitely RINOs because we can quantify that by their votes and actions. I think you can apply it to Liz Cheney too, because she’s demonstrated by her actions that her sole purpose is to undermine other Republicans (and it isn’t limited to Trump at this point).
But I’ve seen that label applied to people with 96% conservative voting records who never actively work to undermine the party or conservatives.
So without a working definition of what RINO means, we are left with random trailer park dudes using it every time someone doesn’t toe the line 100% of the time.
“Whats happening......”
Umm, mebbe some latinos have been asking where the unaccompanied little girls have been disappeared to ?
If I’d just seen some of the hundreds of piccies with BeijingBiden abusing little girls I’d be wondering what the US has gotten to .
El Quatro Sinko ?
Liz Cheney is still talking about 1/6. Mitt Romney hates Trump. But he knows better and he has decided to shut up about it and move on. Liz is still obsessed.
As the term RINO has gained popularity, it’s meaning has become diluted as it is used to insults anyone with whom he have a disagreement.
A lot of Hispanics love God. A lot of blacks don’t. That alone is a huge gap that is covered by Republicans as opposed to Democrats, who are largely Atheistic.
The Hispanic Catholics take it very seriously, and won’t tolerate being told they can’t worship or must abide abortion.
Silly freepers. Those of us with cognitive skills realize that “approval ratings” matter nothing when the enemy has the entire voting process, from ballot to inauguration, firmly in their criminal little hands.
Stealing the vote only works in close races. When there’s an abnormally large vote contrary to polls, or way over registered voters, someone is going to get the idea. And maybe that’s when real investigations start & someone goes to jail.
