Complete garbage. Biden of course has no clue, but the malignant schemers behind him persist in this fraud. Wattsupwiththat has a compelling full explanation of the Boulder fire, and climate change clearly had nothing to do with it.
Yes. This pattern is kind of standard in dry areas.
Of course Biden never lived around the west so he does not understand.
Ditto in Arizona. When we have substantial rains, all those grasses and weeds suddenly appear. The desert is suddenly all green. Then the usual dryness returns, the grasses dry out and now we have a lot of stuff to burn!
After rains, they always predict we are going to get fires!
Very predictable and has nothing to do with global warming!
That’s it exactly. A combination of conditions led to a disastrous result. A spring that was a bit wetter than usual. Not unprecedented in any way just a spring on the high end of precipitation typical for the region. Not even the highest.
Then a summer and fall on the low end of what is typical for the region and the mid-line for that is dry relatively speaking. The most atypical occurrence was a complete lack of snowfalls, which could have made a huge difference in the fuel’s potential, but that is still not far outside the norms for Oct. through Dec.
The 100+ mph winds are so typical for the Boulder area it is a strange winter when they don’t occur. But there is no stopping a fire in a wind like that when fuel is abundant, dry and has not been matted down by a snowfall. There is only running away and hoping the fire hits some kind of break.
FJB and all the climate kooks that believe this kind of #FakeScience propaganda!
The dryness was definitely a factor, as were the 110 mph winds, but the early season rains were the primary causative factor in the intensity of the fires. The weeds and grasses in the Boulder/Louisville area had undoubtedly grown to epic proportions just like my garden did.

First thing I’ve read about the fire that makes sense!
Another angle to the "Climate Change" argument is "why hasn't this happened before unless conditions really are different?"
I have a theory about that too. Most outdoor activity usually ceases in winds that high. Apart from the extreme discomfort, the potential for blowing debris makes it very dangerous to be outside. Hard to walk or even stay standing.
The chances that someone is out doing something that could start a fire are much smaller than under ordinary conditions and without the high winds the fire department could probably contain a weed/grass fire.
SORRY BRANDON; wildfires are supercharged by STUPID USDA, USFS, and USEPA policies on forest management!
