His youngest Granddaughter must have told him that.
She’s quoting her Zoom Teacher.

I live about 35 miles from Boulder and 2,200 feet higher. Had one of the best gardens in the last 15 years because May, June and the first part of July were wetter than ever. I hardly watered at all and normally I pour tons of water on and still don’t get the results I saw last summer.

It is true that it has been very dry since then with no snowfall to speak of until the day after the Boulder/Louisville fires.

The dryness was definitely a factor, as were the 110 mph winds, but the early season rains were the primary causative factor in the intensity of the fires. The weeds and grasses in the Boulder/Louisville area had undoubtedly grown to epic proportions just like my garden did.

You forgot: don’t build big towns near mountains in dry areas of prairie grass, where high winds are common.

Just like a river flooding its banks, the current is not terribly fast except where the water is restricted. Hence, the channel under the bridges are subjected to the pressures of high speed currents, and often the bridge footings can’t hold up

What happened in Boulder County was not an if, but a when it would happen.

My brother lived in that area for 19 years and saw numerous small fires, that couldn’t do a lot of damage because there wasn’t many homes. But that was in the 80s and 90s.

Is there a real yard, that’s green, in the Denver metro area, that isn’t irrigated?

Even western Kansas would grassfire central if it wasn’t for all of the irrigation pivots, that allow it to be farmed.

Leftists chose this guy, this climate change expert, to be our nation’s central planner.

He’s the one they trust to finally implement socialism the right way.

But the blizzards ravaging the East Coast are merely weather and have nothing to do with climate.

Indeed, you’ve summed it up.

I don’t need to watch or listen to news any more. It’s all going to be about that bullschtein.

Wrong about covid.
Wrong about the economy.
Wrong about Afghanistan.

What are the odds he’s right about climate change?

Its actually bad forest management by government parasites egged on by environmental zealots.

The don’t like clear cutting sections(think checkerboard) or having roads in forest lands.

Hence no potential fire breaks that could limit damage to timber lands.

Glad to do it.

Of course the looney left will dismiss hard data acquired from ice cores and tell you that computer models, none of which has accurately predicted the climate for a single year, are real science and cannot be ignored.

Covid Joe ignored the fact that 20” of snow fell in that area right after the fire and much of it was still on the ground when he rambled repetitiously and incoherently about “holding onto each other”, and “we’ll get through this” and “it’ll make you stronger” ...oh yeah, and “climate change” ...

The open space (untended parks) around Marshall use to be pasture and now the grass not being mowed down makes a lot of tender to burn. The winds hit Boulder at least once a year. The fire could have started by a cigarette.

Demonstrating he is an imbecile. Ambient temperatures do not start fires, anywhere on earth.

Even if true, how will confiscatory taxation and regulation fix it?

Does Xi Dung even understand what the word “supercharge” means?

I doubt it.
