137 MPH here about 20 miles north of there. Record wind speed for that area was 141 MPH several years ago.

getting annoyed at CBS news denver
showing useless interviews from a evac center
need to show smoke plume
last look very black smoke and lots of it likely many homes)
radar our of denver still showing very intense returns
very similar to CA forest fires..
but no forest around so these have to be lots of wooded homes burning
