Maybe she gave an ultimatum, that he needs to resign from congress otherwise marriage is over.
Maybe he thought it was just a bluff and he thought he called her bluff, and told her he wants to stay in Congress.
Maybe she just couldn’t stand how Washington is, even though she apparently was ok with him running for Congress.

What state is he from?? She probably HATES DC and is homesick!!

He is from Western NC. Lives close to me. His campaign was the most energetic I’ve ever seen for a local race. His signs were everywhere and a couple of days after the election they were all taken down.

She’s very young not to have her needs met.
Cruel fact baring exceptional women which are few and far between these days.

North Carolina to DC had to be an absolute culture shock for her then having no family around you I can totally understand how she feels!! I am very surprised though the he just didn’t run in 2022 he can’t love her that much if DC is more important to him!!!
To: El Cid
Has he ever explained his actions on that day?
To: wardaddy
Shes unhappy at the changes of circumstance.
Probably less attention to her in one or more ways. He stole her spotlight. She just got married after all.

I haven't heard, if he has.
Like I said, I can partially understand it. He's young, confined to a wheel-chair, and probably easily spooked by Deep State denizens who he trusted. And I'm sure there was a lot of yelling and hollering going outside the House chamber.
All that said, it left a bad taste in my mouth.
That whole day left a bad taste in my mouth. I remember when I first saw the demonstrations, I just shrugged my shoulders. Based on all of the previous summer's riots, it seemed like a non-event. When I later realized that Dems and Media were working in concert to try and turn this into something that it wasn't (i.e., 'a violent insurrection'), I was appalled and disgusted. And then when Cawthorn came on the TV later that night (or the next day) supporting the insurrection narrative, it just poured fuel on the fire.
Maybe he later presented a good explanation (or better yet, an apology), but I never heard it.

When something that unusual happens, (MASSIVE Voter Fraud, soon followed by a group of citizens wishing to hold a public discussion of that crime) very few people can resist jumping in with their opinion of what it all means.
Most of us know what the term Psyche-Ops means. Many conservatives saw it as a trap set for the GOP waiting to be sprung. Several Vichy-GOP (i.e. El Turtle) were more than happy to help maintain the illusion.
Wiser people know it’s often better to wait until those first few days have passed by before you present your take on it.
* I don’t always take that advice either.

He won because of Trump. Don’t think he will win reelection as the local press has been brutal on him. plus, he is abandoning this district for an adjoining district in 2022.

Right. Marriage is for a healthy society in every sense of the word - and for children - well lived, well provided for, well protected and well raised.
