That is the next test for him. He will vote for it, if it gets to the floor, but, so far, he’s not willing to change the rules or try to ‘work around’ the rules to get it there - so the Dems will need to round up 10 Republicans and so far they have zero.

You have a good point, but Manchin and Sinema are holding against massive party pressure as well as the Media and Deep State.
The voting bill is the biggest thing. If they hold on that, all 51-52 senators who stop it deserve a lot of credit.

I agree. Yes Manchin is a democrat but this one NO, if he sticks to it, that has done this country a HUGE favor. Indeed billions that would have been wasted had this bill passed will not be.
Someone else said on this thread that Manchin is just waiting for the price/payoff to get high enough. I hope that’s not true but I do worry about it.
