Yes... or a myriad of other reasons to decline service. Not much they can do about it. A sensible person would never say they are deciding not to provide service because the person is of whatever group. That is just setting yourself up to be crucified.
At rhis point, christians should accept the job, make the client sign a waiver to not sue, and thwn just do a horrible job. Not totally horrible, but bad enough ro fight baxk.
Violating one’s conscience is no less pernicious than violating one’s physical body through rape.
However…

“Come down with possible COVID! - “cough, cough..”
Have a “friend” coincidentally JUST “booked” that day..
There are ways around this nonsense.

Probably not but political belief is not on the list of protected classes. I know the goal of most of this is to drive people with religious beliefs out of business, but as a gay couple do you really want someone how doesn’t support your similar beliefs to take photos? Maybe there are no gay photographers in New York, you might think they would like to drive business to people that support them. Always want to use the power of the state to enforce their beliefs and stamp out the freedom of association rights we clearly should have.
