Is Cruz the next Majority leader or should it be Rand?
To: DIRTYSECRET
Either would be a massive improvement over Mitch.

The less time Congress is in DC, “working”, the better off Americans are.

Is Cruz the next Majority leader or should it be Rand? The next Senate Majority Leader will be the current Senate Minority Leader.

Democrats and the conservative firebrand are struggling to make progress toward an agreement that would trade votes on some of Biden’s ambassador nominees for a vote on sanctions related to the construction of the Russian Nord Stream 2 pipeline...Isn't this log rolling? And isn't log rolling illegal?

Nothings illegal for them until a Federal judge says it is and then they look for an end run around it.

Why would sanctioning firms that Germany asked to build a gas pipeline be a basis to stop the US from having ambassadors to other nations?
Sounds like another stupid Cruz move.

A pile of dog crap would too.

Why do they need Cruz to do anything there related to nominations.

Hard ball? More likely blue ball.

Honestly, I think it’s more important to block the Biden administration’s insane nominees than it is to give Russia a symbolic knuckle rapping.
Hold the line Ted! No deals of any kind (but feel free to string them along in the vain hope of one)!

Can’t trust ANY politician. But, as far as politicians go, Cruz is better than most.

Why is it only Ted Cruz and not every republicrat?

*Can’t trust cruz.*
I don’t either but then how do you keep him on a leash? It’ll be up to the other GOP senators-girlie men even less trustworthy.
Can you trust Rand? He wants to be POTUS too.

If we don’t replace the present “Minority” Leader, they will remain the Minority Leader.
