This article shows either gross ignorance or malfeasance. The PCR test *never* distinguished between Covid variants. Differentiating variants requires genomic sequencing.
This is becoming hilarious. I can’t even be angry at the BS anymore. I’m just watching and enjoying the entertainment that the so-called scientists and experts shovel out to make everything scary.
My reaction too. Since WHEN did PCR tests ever distinguish between variants? They’re well known to product high false-positive rates, let alone be accurate on a variant.
It’s such BS when I hear specific numbers - as though they know with every test done, when in reality a full genome sequencing is required.
You do realize the idiocy telegraphed in that excerpt discredits both the article and the source wholesale, don’t you?
