I think we need to look at what Singapore does, there is a reason why they have hardly any crime, granted they are harsh, but equal to perpetrators be rich or not rich, just my two cents.
In 2020, polls showed that California voters largely supported criminal justice reform, as well as rolling back tough sentencing laws to reduce prison populations without nary a thought to how it might affect the crime rate.
It’s not clear what reforms the concerns about crime in the Los Angeles area will lead to — if any.
may finally get some action. if big political donors are being affected watch the politicians jump to attention
A good rocker by Ratt.
I bet those folks wouldn’t dream of owning any of those yucky, evil firearms for protection.
Would they?
I’ve wondered what took them so long. Maybe it took some thinking on their part to follow and plan. Not their strongest suit. They try it in the middle-class suburbs and see what happens.
I am glad that I live in a State where I can have a concealed carry license and own firearms with magazines over 10 rounds.
The rich Californian’s have done this to themselves by putting up with and donating campaign funds to gun grabbing politicians. Sometimes, it is better to leave a place, than to stay.
Not sure what the state laws in CA are, but Los Angelenos still have federal 2nd Amendment rights. Since the people most of you voted for are going to let the criminals roam free, better buy some good protection for your home. Neighborhood watches would be good too - look out for each other, since you are pretty much sitting ducks and on your own these days.
“The fact that this has happened, her being shot and killed in her own home, after giving, sharing, and caring for 81 years has shaken the laws of the Universe,” said Oprah Winfrey, expressing grief over Avant’s killing via Twitter. “The world is upside down.” ...On Thursday, Mayor Eric Garcetti and LAPD Chief Michael Moore advocated for locking offenders up, and questioned several pandemic-related policies that put nonviolent arrestees back on the street without bail... Los Angeles County Dist. Atty. George Gascón, whose progressive policies around prosecution and sentencing many blame for the uptick in crime, was notably absent at the press conference but said through his office that he is working closely with law enforcement partners to hold perpetrators accountable for such brazen crimes.
Thanks blam.
How Prop. 47 was sold to a gullible California electorate.
At least one of your representatives, Nancy Pelosi, is helping completely destroy and bankrupt California while she steals what she can and flees to Florida.
Rich liberals in LA are to blame for a lot of this crap. Let the thugs have at it . Pay back is a bitch.
At some point the gangs decide that your security guards are just scarecrows, that they won't actually shoot. Then they will come and loot all of Beverly Hills. They know there's valuables there.
“Private security officers guard the Beverly Hills home where Jacqueline Avant...”
So, does that make them Avant Guards ? /bad taste
chuckle...
Correct for the inner cities and rich suburbs. I’m darkly hoping they try mob invasions in the middle class suburbs. The couple who went out on their lawn to brandish their weapons won’t be the case. Even in California, one foot in the window...other States are less restrictive.
They’re only supposed to victimize Those People, eh? What can I say, except, have fun. Welcome to reality.
