Unless its demonstrably super-deadly beyond the rate of covid in March-June 2020, most countries are fed up with this whole thing. It will take another example like March 2020 in Italy to get traction.

Everyone is fed up.
The virus doesn’t care about that. It will do the same thing if someone decides to ignore an avalanche of elderly deaths or chooses to think about them.
Attitudes are just not important to virus behavior.
This would have been over several months ago with natural immunity. We have become soft, being sick is no longer an inconvenience. It is intolerable to your average person.
Attitudes are however important to human response.
I submit that the most important consequence of Covid has not been the actual deaths but the human reaction to it.
Yet another report on another variant that is devoid of a single reference to any symptom or symptoms whatsoever.
I am beginning to think this is a “pandemic” of lab test results and nothing more.
