The article is practically unreadable, because of the misuse of pronouns. “And earlier this month, the university placed Dr Walker on leave, saying it was for their own safety. “ Is the university concerned about the safety of the university, or about the professor’s safety. Proper English would indicate the university is concerned about the safety of the university.
