Where does this puke think electricity comes from? In western Pennsylvania, because of new EPA regulations, two coal-fired power plants in Indiana and Armstrong counties are among at least 26 plants across 14 states that intend to shut down coal operations within the next ten years due to the high cost of stricter wastewater pollution regulations.

These shutdowns mean the termination of 320 full time workers and 170 contractors. These plants provide electricity to more than 1 million customers. What will replace them? Windmills? Solar panels? Does Biden think you plug in an electric car and the electricity is miraculously produced from the air? This won’t replace fossil fuels. Pennsylvania coal provides jobs and electricity as it has for decade after decade. It’s reliable and it used to be cheap before Obama and Biden waged a war on coal.

Western Pennsylvania is often cloudy. In fact there are more cloudy days than sunny days. We can’t rely on solar panels for electricity. The wind farms now on ridges in Pennsylvania are eyesores that are killing tens of thousands of raptors and other birds that use the updrafts on these ridges as they migrate.

In the last two weeks, as I’ve driven to work, I’ve had to wait as long coal trains pass by. Each has, I’d estimate, a hundred or more cars filled to the brim with coal going to the Keystone power plant to generate electricity.

The communities where these plants are located are small, rural communities that depend on plant workers’ taxes and the taxes the plants pay to support local schools and fire departments and hospitals and almost everything else. They are the major employers in these communities. Without them, these communities will die. Kill coal, kill fracking and you kill some of the major sources for jobs in this region. You impoverish people who didn’t have much to begin with.

Biden is destroying everything he touches. He is an idiot, a mindless puppet being controlled by the Marxists that populate his administration. How can the U.S. survive this?

Most people can’t afford an electric car.

I've been running a 2013 Hyundai Elantra that I bought new with nothing but maintenance, tires and minimal repairs all these years. Paid under 20. Real world gas consumption is low 20s big city miles to mid 30s highway miles. An electric Mini Cooper that gets 110 miles on a charge at $30500.00 plus plus is the cheapest electric I've seen on line. Who knows what a northern winter will do to that 110.

“Hell, it’s hurting me and I’m not poor.”

Well, you will be soon, along with the rest of us. Biden and Pelosi will see to that.
