Self-defense is not a matter of rights, but a law passed by a state legislature. It is an unalienable right granted by GOD Almighty. No legitimate legislature nor government can take that away. They can try but God-fearing and Liberty loving people know better and will not that usurpation succeed for long.

“Kyle Rittenhouse was a juvenile who traveled across state lineshad close ties to Kenosha on a vigilante mission which somehow included giving away his legally owned bulletproof vest before he got into any altercation, cleaning up graffiti, and offering first aid services which he had training to provide

Gee if they just suspend your right to protest, then there would be no Rittenhouse need. What about it ACLU, what to trade rights?

Dear ACLU,
You say you care about civil liberties.
Please look into the following violations of Kyle’s civil liberties:
-Prosecutors alleging that Kyle’s choice to remain silent was an indication of his guilt, in violation of his Fifth Amendment right to remain silent.
-Prosecutors withholding the high-res drone footage from the defense, in violation of his right to exculpatory (or, potentially exculpatory) evidence at trial.
-Prosecutors supplying a low-res version of the drone footage, which amounts to evidence tampering.
-Prosecutors withholding the identity of “jump kick man” from the defense, preventing them from having him as a witness.
-Prosecutors lying in court, e.g. telling the jurors something to the effect of “no one has ever been killed by a man wielding a skateboard”, which is false.
-Prosecutors arranging witnesses to lie on the stand, e.g. one man who claims he never spoke to Kyle before the shootings, but there is footage of him doing so.
-One prosecutor aiming a rifle at members of the jury, with his finger on the trigger. This would be criminal brandishing, at least, under any other context, and in any case is a violation of the fundamental laws of gun safety, especially in light of the Alec Baldwin shooting. Additionally, it was a deceptive antic in the courtroom, because members of the jury were calmly sitting in the jury box, rather than attacking or attempting to disarm him as the people Kyle shot were doing at the time they were shot.
Also, dear ACLU, do you think people should have the liberty to not be subject to malicious prosecution?
In any case, here are some egregious rights violations that you might want to look into, if indeed you do what you say you do.

Not to mention gross prosecutorial misconduct. If I was a defense attorney that had a client prosecuted by ADA Thomas Binger I would immediately start reviewing the cases.

It is kind of amusing to see these people twist themselves into a pretzel as they try to support their far left buddies, while at the same time not looking like they are against civil liberties.
Now that their left wing buddies are brazen in denying the civil liberties of those who don't live on their ideological plantation, the anti christian liberties group is in an awkward position. If they keep this up they may have to change their name or become a laughing stock.
