irrelevant. Has nothing to do with OPEC.

Again, you cannot execute doemstic US laws against Nation States.

It a meaningless PR stunt to appease their brain dead voter base that “they are doing something”

An oil embargo against us would get many Americans back on the “Drill Baby Drill” platform...

If they wanna do business here, you can’t violate anti trust laws. If they don’t like it, bomb them and drill our own.

The “C” in “OPEC” stands for “Countries.”

You know whereof you speak. I have some small experience in the field too. As you remember, when Oil hit $147 during Bush II days, a strange thing happened (at least I thought so). Bush sold some oil out of the SPR and did a little jawboning. Oil started dropping and didn’t stop until it hit about $30.

I’ve always wondered what Bush said behind the scenes because the SPR sale didn’t do all that.

The US Government under both political parties has had a habit of seizing bank accounts, restricting inter-bank transfers as well as travel of foreign nationals. Perhaps they have something like that in mind?

Yeah, and the USA is a country too. Seems like nobody has to respect American law, but when THEY do things their way, we are expected to defer to them.

No sale.

The target will be the US companies. Threatening them, OPEC, when we don’t have the domestic capability is a fool’s errand.

The Law Makers should look in the mirror to see who’s screwing with Oil Prices

I’m thinking that may be the administration’s ulterior motive.

And we can seize Citgo and Motiva under the enemy act, just like we seized German-owned assets in two world wars.
