There is NO NEED to raise the debt ceiling.
Just do what any family or company would do when faced with a large debt ... SELL SOME ASSETS!
The gov’t has lots of valuable land which could be sold or leased.

IMHO, and I’m sure there are numerous FReepers who agree, the debt ceiling should stay where it is or even be lowered. Much of the profligate spending should be cut or eliminated.
