I don’t even understand this narrative that you can’t defend property with deadly force.
OF COURSE YOU CAN. Because in the course of damaging property, innocent people can be hurt. The outcome of damaging or stealing property can strip people of their means of protection, livelihoods, food/ shelter for their family, cause untold psychological damage etc. The butterfly effect of destroying someone else’s property is impossible to predict.
And I contend that if Kyle “asked for” a beating by carrying a weapon, then at the very least, smashing cars, starting fires and busting windows is also “asking for it”.
By their own logic.
The prosecutor sounds like school officials who punish kids who get in fights all the same, instead of taking self defense into consideration and punishing the one who started it more severely.

As I remember from the video, Rittenhouse got his hat slapped off, kicked and hit in the face with a skateboard. The mob got their shots in, and Kyle got his! Because sometimes a mob full of @ssholes needs to be gunned down!Actually one man charged him and actually had his hand over the barrel of the gun and was shot 4 times in under 3/4 of a second. Then a man with a rock hit him in the head. He was hit with a skateboard. Then he was kicked in the face. Then he was hit a second time with a skateboard and shot. Then he was being charged at by a man with a gun pointed at his head. Pretty simply to me, self-defense.

Does that mean that a group of Kyle’s angry relatives can beat this fat fool to a bloody pulp?
