Well, he still has a way to go to beat Judge Ito.
“”Well, he still has a way to go to beat Judge Ito.””
I don’t know about that. I don’t remember Ito losing his place/train of thought, looking for papers, hesitating, confused. He was ready to speak to any issue. This poor guy acted like he hadn’t been in the courtroom and wasn’t familiar with the case.
Those instructions yesterday were impossible to follow. I watched the trial on HLN and that panel couldn’t make sense of them and they were all experienced attorneys.
When the case was handed to the jury late yesterday they were told they would have copies of the instructions to refer to if they had questions. I bet the jurors wanted to scream. A fat lot of good the written instructions did the judge. He got lost repeatedly. You have to wonder who wrote them as he was busy with his pen making corrections on his copy.
Have to say his behavior is a bit unorthodox which is just strange to see. I like that he’s not afraid to show anger at shenanigans. Some said it wasn’t appropriate but why not?
I watched every second of the OJ trial - listened to it on the radio at my desk at work, recorded it at home and watched it every evening. I always said OJ would owe me a new VCR and it did wear out...
