Truth is what the Party says is truth. Think of the novel 1984, where the Inner Party member, O’Brien, waved four fingers in front of Winston Smith and asked him how many fingers he saw. Smith was beaten and tortured when he asserted that he saw four fingers until he was broken and told O’Brien that it depended on what O’Brien said it was.
And what does Schiff this is accurate.

I think the Democrats believe that if they tell a lie often enough everyone will believe it is the truth or in today’s lingo ... the new norm.

Producing something accurate was never the goal, so why would there be any regrets?
He is an intellectual and moral leper and should be treated as such.
Technically he's not lying. It's known that some of the material in the dossier was obtained from the internet and may contain some accurate info. I have no idea what that true material is because nobody was paying attention to it. It was basically meaningless filler.
IIRC, he was waving around a thick envelope of definitive “evidence” of Russkie collusion.
