We all know they're going to shut it down anyway, then deny they're the ones who ordered it shut down.
The only legitimate question in all of this IMO is: who's going to be the scapegoat?

The pipeline is a major supplier of crude oil and natural gas to Michigan.
The only section that is any sort of “threat” is the section that crosses the Lake, and that has been scheduled for replacement, but the Brandon Admin has blocked the replacement.

Enbridge has been trying to build (they will pay for it all) a pipeline that runs in the bedrock of the straits, not thru the water as the current one does.
They had approval, but our disgusting governor and her administration won’t let it happen.
