Umm, As soon as China makes the first overt military move all trade ends with them has to end. It doesn’t require “annihilation” of anything. I would argue we are there now and all trade with China should end today.

Got into the same type of discussion yesterday with a former military guy who fought in VN. He is of the opinion that we should stay the hell out if Taiwan is attacked.

The problem with that is, the Reds will not stop at Taiwan ever. Like the start of WW2 if we stay out, the conflict will escalate further and we will find them sobs here on our soil. Hell, they already are here. Unless people can prove to those of my opinion that there are NO enemy combatants coming cross our southern border salted within that mob.

Our best of friends over there now was at one time our worst enemy. Trump was in the process of helping them re-arm until the NazicRATS stole the election. The Japanese have floated their first carriers since WW2. I hope they do have nuclear weapons. That is the chance we here have to keep the Reds military of this country.

They attack Taiwan, and although we will try to stay clear of it, we will get sucked into it.

With this pig we have as POTUS, we will lose any conflict with any aggressor nation with a military they have now.

That assumes their missiles have sufficient range and accuracy. So far, they only have range for the West Coast.

They have subs with warheads off our coasts and I’m sure they have missiles that can hit anywhere in America. China has a robust missile and space program.
