The BAC calculator linked below shows that a 180 pound man having 8 drinks in 2 and 20 minutes results in a .19 BAC and Norgard was close to that at .188 (and generally, metabolization reduces a person’s BAC by about .015% per hour)

For a 180 pound man 4 beers in 2 hours results in .08 (presuming 12 ounces each at 5% alcohol)

Hardly a happy ending. Norgard seems to have acted like a jerk, no doubt, and he needed to be taught a lesson, perhaps, but he paid a dreadful price for his stupidity.

He was not innocent and if he kept going after someone, his intent was to harm them. A jerk just mouths off. He doesn't try to attack someone.

Norgard deserved what he got and won't be a threat to anyone else any more.

Don’t know anything about your particular rooster but I’ve seen the small guy beat the absolute living shit out of the really big guy on two separate occasions

We had a bunch of bantam chickens when I was growing up. We called the roosters banty roosters. And they did act like tough guys chasing birds around the field who were smaller than they were, but occasionally harassing larger chickens or even geese.

Actually, .188 is pretty darned drunk. Folks can be worse, but that’ll do it. But I didn’t mention BAC.

Actually, BAC is a TERRIBLE indicator of drunkenness. Alcohol amount vs inebriety varies quite a lot from person to person. I can drink 4-5 heavy beers over maybe two hours (Temptress is 9.1%), and I'm somewhat tipsy. My old boss (heavyset dude) could drink a glass of wine and be the same tipsy. Two glasses would have him drunk.
