I remember, years ago, reading an article by somebody who interviewed Slick Willy. Don’t remember who the writer was, Or the exact quote, but it went something like this: “I knew he was lying, but I found myself believing him anyway. He is that good at it.”
Like a second Shakespeare, Houdini, Charlie Chaplin, Bruce Lee or Yossele Rosenblatt. There just won’t be another Bill Clinton. Thank G-d for that.

obama/soetoro/whatever his real name is doesn’t work very hard at lying for the same reason he doesn’t work very hard at anything else. He doesn’t need to. He has lots of help.
His whole life is a lie, but he pulls it off with a little help. Michelle pretends to be his wife, even though he doesn’t bend that way. He pretends to be popular on his own merits, even though all he’s got going for him is he looks good in a suit and has lots of melanin in his skin. He pretends he was a successful POTUS, even though all of his policies failed to accomplish anything. For the last two, he has the MSM to thank.

The Bushes, the Clintons, Obama and Biden were probably all sock puppets to a greater or lesser degree. About the only two POTUSes that I can truly trust were Reagan and Trump. And Jonathan Swift’s test of genius also works with regards to integrity. If every dunce in the world is in confederacy against someone, he is a genius. And if every crook and coward in the world is in confederacy against someone, he is an honest man.
Reagan was THE MAN!
The perfect man for the times. Humble (he always thought he was the least interesting person in the room), all the qualities of a Boy Scout and sinner turned saint, patriotic, self assured, bold, a man of vision.
Papa Bush was as DS as they come. Even though I voted for him I never really trusted him. To me he came across as a slimy used car salesman.
Clinton was the perfect candidate for the powers behind the throne. Good looks, charming aw shucks demeanor, decent talker, inveterate social climber and as corrupt as anyone.
W followed in his daddy’s footsteps. Full backing of the shadow gov and the military/industrial complex. Still, he was probably better than the democrat alternative, the infamous sex poodle Al Gore.
Obama was, again, the perfect candidate. Obscure, blank background, extremely manageable and utterly corrupt. Less was known about this guy than any other person to inhabit the White House.
Then came The Donald.
Trump is Reaganesque in many ways. Confident, a man of vision, patriotic, bold, daring.
He may be worth billion$ but he speaks the language of the everyday working man.
Where Reagan used words like a rapier Donald Trump uses them like a main battle tank.
Yes, Reagan and Trump were the only two worthy of being the leader of the free world.
And Swift’s test of genius does tell the tale. The two best Presidents since Eisenhower were hated by every crook, corruptocrat and career politician in the country.
BTW, I had to look Swift up.
The Gullivers Travels guy! And much more. Seems like he was a man of solid reasoning.
Irish Protestant, full of wisdom and guile. Not at all disdainful of the Catholics.
I do have some respect for Harry Truman. These days, he’d be a Trump supporter.
