There aren’t enough white male conservative voters to re-elect Trump. He will need moderate Republicans and independents to win. Attacking Meghan McCain and making negative statements about Colin Powell when he died does not benefit Trump and turns off many voters he will need to be reelected. Why waste time and energy going after people who ate irrelevant. Attack Biden, Harris, Garland, and others who do have power and are destroying the country. Those people, and their policies ate what he will be running against. The McCains are history as is Colin Powell.
The press baits Trump with the irrelevant and he instinctively jumps in a mean spirited way. If asked about the Meghan McCain he can put her down by simply saying, “My focus today is on the suffering of the American people 100% caused by the destructive policies of the current administration and Congress. I don’t waste time on background noise. Let’s talk about the disaster on the border.”
Yes. People think he’s being Reagan, when it looks more like he’s being Goldwater, doubling down on the things the base wants to hear and turning off the swing voters he would need to win.

Your attitude is what helped to lose the election for Trump, other than that it was stolen. Oh, but the Dems are about to have to fear Trump’s tweets once again, because as of mid-February 2022, his new social media platform goes public and Trump will once again be strutting upon the political media stage big-time. Take that you suburban Karens. Then they will have a real choice to make, mean tweets or living in a Commie hell-hole. Lets see if they make a wiser choice in 2024.
As so many of them are educationally brainwashed millenials, a wise choice is in doubt. The demographic shift and the educational dumbing down of so many emotion laden women in the burbs may mean it is too late to salvage them.
However, mitigating factors are they don’t like having their children being taught to hate their own whiteness, and they don’t like inflation affecting their purchasing power. And they don’t like expensive gas. We’ll see if that is enough to overcome their “mean tweets” syndrome. It’s a crap shoot.
