There appears to be a lot of people who are still not paying rent/house payment, because of the moratoriums being extended. It is really hard to evict someone these days, especially if it is a roommate situation and the person refuses to leave.
Also, there are a lot of woke utilities who are letting deadbeats not pay their bills but keeping the gas, electric, water, etc. on. I'm sure there are a lot of other benefits to being unemployed these days and with things like Netflix being less than $10/month and free food stamps from the government, why work?
