Caruso said Walgreens is bolstering security measures in its remaining 50-plus city locations. How? Do they put up "Please Don't Shoplift" signs?

Walgreens, at least in SF, would be better served operating a ‘we-deliver’ system, where you go on-line and the items are ordered, and delivered each evening between 7 and 10 PM. Zero reason to run a brick-and-mortar pharmacy in an urbanized area like this.

A Chronicle analysis found that shoplifting dropped dramatically at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, then picked up again in the summer of 2020 as stores reopened. Nothing, and I mean absolutely nothing, gets past the ace analysts of the Chronicle.

Leftist logic:
1. Police enforcement of crimes is racist.
2. Stop enforcing the laws.
3. No more racism!
And now,
1. Racist stores shut down bc of shoplifting.
2. Give the shoplifters unemployment benefits.

“The numerous elderly in SF will need Walgreens to fill prescriptions but the losers in government do not care about the elderly or families or students in SF.”
Who do the numerous elderly in SF vote for? Oh well, elections have consequences.

Why not just convert to drive-through/curbside service only? Very limited theft if you get the payment before the dude even has items in hand.
