POLICE BRUTIALLY
If a drug dog alerts that is considered probable cause.
That is the current law. Whether or not, as some here have stated, a dog is trained to alert on command doesn’t matter.
> And the blue Ohio handicap hang-tag like I have...
Just FYI. If you look at your placard it says “Remove Before Driving Vehicle”.
In the video there appears to be a hand control.
IMHO he still should have complied. The street is not the place to make your argument.
Thanks for the correction. :-)
Look for the Dayton police to try & sweep this under the rug!
I don’t remember a dog being mentioned. A friend of mine was asked to search his van and he said no. They told him wait so they could get a K9 officer. Thirty minutes later they told him he could go as the K9 officer was busy elsewhere. I don’t know about Ohio but there is a limit to how long they can hold a suspect before they have to let him go. The story said there were no charges for drugs but there might have been other charges it didn’t say. Even so the officer has to present the warrant for searches. Of course many cops do what ever they please.
One of the best movies ever. Thanks for posting
