You think they would have worked with a Trump White House?

Of course not, but the situation would not even have happened with the Trump White House.

My point is that — during the Trump administration — anything bad that happened was laid directly at his feet, personally. "Trump did this" or "The Trump Administration is scrambling to get ahead of that" crisis, often made up out of whole cloth.

But now that a Democrat is in the White House, the problems of his administration are ascribed to "the U.S." It's not Biden that's ineffective, it's "the U.S." — meaning you and me — that is ineffective, that has a problem, that has to be worried.

Trump told them to cooperate or else. And he showed them he meant it. Biden and Blinken have no idea what they are even trying to do, and the Taliban know it.

Trump's deal with the Taliban was to remove all U.S. troops by May of 2021. In addition, Trump has said he would have taken back the $85 billion in arms given to the Afghan army. Without U.S. troops in country and without a functioning Afghan army then what would have stopped the Taliban from taking over?

Can't disagree with you there.

Al Queda has long since intermarried with the Taliban.

Probably a good number of ISIS by now as well.

Blood is thicker than water.

They are the Taliban.
