Thanks. My wife was very sad about this most recent friend of hers passing. This friend was someone my wife would always make sure to see when going back to RP every several years or so. And, 50-51 y/o is too young for sure!

Do you know of any folks in the Philippines who used Ivermectin, or Hydroxychloroquine?

I don't believe so, at least not with direct friends or family. There is some use of Chinese "traditional medicine" pills, but it's very hard to say how much benefit may be gained. (Very "uncontrolled" data for sure -- in that scenario one doesn't even really know for sure what's in the tablets. Kinda like some imported fish, here...)

RP seems to be past it's cases peak, if their numbers mean anything at all. That sort of dovetails with such a high number of the people we know there having had COVID recently...

My friend from Taiwan, with some inside knowledge of Traditional Chinese Medical products, was emphatic about avoiding the products from the Mainland, because they were so widely adulterated.

Russia is probably experiencing some of the same kind of Northward seasonal shift in Coronavirus, that we have been seeing in the USA. This Summer, the former Soviet Republic of Georgia was experiencing some of the highest case rates in the world.
