The point I was repeatedly making was that unless there is a federal question, SCOTUS can’t act.
As I pointed out, I reviewed the cert petition. In this case, it has more to do with mootness than anything else.

Two oral arguments were heard today. The first was Mississippi v Tennessee. It involves a water dispute. The second one is Wooden v United States. I think this involves the three strikes laws. If someone commits three crimes at the same time, whether the three strikes apply for congruent crimes or if one needs to commit the crimes at different times.
There are 2 more cases tomorrow and one case on Wednesday. This was the first day of the new court term, which runs from the first Monday in October through June.
