Likely the case. Paxton gets my vote regardless. So does Abbott.

Plus, the Bush/Cheney arm of R’s think Paxton may be vulnerable b/c the abortion bill and think they see an opening for a pro-abortion (in reality)Republican.
First, this is a primary issue. Second, for conservatives, the name Bush is dead in Texas. Third, every effective conservative official will receive the liberal Tarrant County treatment using lawfare to grind them down. Fourth, Paxton has been putting forth a good fight.

I was a big Abbott fan until his capitulation to the scamdemic, starting with the “mask mandate” last year. Got the cops called on me a couple of times because I refused to put on a “burka.” Thanks, Abbott.

Paxton has always struck me as personally dirty, but he delivers for the voters.
Dirty dealing on the delays. The local DA claimed a conflict; rather than sending it to another DA they hired private attorneys from Houston to prosecute, then refused to pay the bills, so work on the case stopped.
I didn’t know who Paxton was when he got elected, but I found out quickly. As soon as this guy was sworn in, the libs and the media went turbo crazy attacking him.
