Only her getting her own show could make me start watching Fox again.
‘...It’s not comfortable for conservatives who value order and civility to even think or speak this way... .’
Interesting thought. And the writer is correct. We are too polite, too ‘right?’ to fight. We (our elected politicians) bluster and threaten and do nothing.
IMO
That's the bottom line. And as a representative government, it should start with our representatives.
I also find this an interesting sentence:
‘...guard against mindless hopefulness. Hope is a virtue, but it can be a bit of a vice if it’s an unwarranted faith that everything will work out in this world or for this country.’
Most everyone who says the conservatives need to fight are not the ones sacrificing and giving up their livelihood telling others to do so
Lou Dobbs would have to be called back too, before I would return as a regular watcher. Steve Hilton and Judge Jeanine Pirro are the only two I even consider now.
Unvaccinated truckers will be happy to give Joe Biden a strong dose of reality.
Within two days of any OSHA Covid vaccination mandate grocery store shelves will be mainly bare from lack of resupply and panic buying.
I used to be an optimist about this, but now I’m definitely “sitting on the fence” about how full or empty the glass is.
The problem is that the Dems and GOPe are importing voters who consistently vote in favor of the Chamber of Commerce. This leads to endless wars abroad, turning a blind eye to illegal immigration, and shifting ever greater portions of the populace onto government subsidies so that they fear government taking it away form them. As long as this kind of leadership can argue reasonably legal elections, then they will have legitimacy in the eyes of most citizens. Things are truly rigged to undermine the privileges of your typical law-abiding, hard-working citizen.
Is the author arguing for civil disobedience? That is already happening. The Left will continue to pick off conservtives selectively through law suits and the courts ad infinitum. They are more than happy to do this. It provides money for the LEftist legal system AND it gives Big Media stories about nutty Right-wingers for the daily news reels.
So what do I think the solution is? The country may very well be lost..we may just not fully realize it yet. We’re in that difficult-to-discern grey area. All I know is that I despise all the Dems and most people in the GOP. It’s not a good place to be.
Under Eisenhower, the top tax rate was I believe 90%.
Joker Joe and Fauxahontas propose to up the top tax rate to I believe 39.6% - just enough to buy Joe and Liz enough votes.
Joker Joe will long for an air conditioned room in a few years.
What The Right Needs Now Is The Courage To Fight Even If It Costs Us
If we don’t we will eventually be on our knees.
“Costs Us”
I’m thinking of the movie “Patton” and the speech about avoiding self-sacrifice.
We need to let the foreign exchange markets work.
And as far as I’m concerned, Joe and Liz can take Bezos and Zuckerberg for everything they’ve got except a good suit and pair of shoes each.
Under Eisenhower, the top tax rate was I believe 90%
Which very few paid due to loopholes. Plus other taxes-state, local-were very small.
“Courage is contagious, Defiance can lead to a recovery of will.”
This 100% true and is very, very important.
Don't you even watch clips of Tucker online?
I do watch good Tucker clips when I’m alerted to them. More realistically, I’d need Mollie back just to start lobbying my wife to bring it back. ;)
How would we know what they go through?
That's the bottom line. And as a representative government, it should start with our representatives.
Our elected representatives you mean?
The ones we choose via fair and transparent elections? Those representatives?
“ Men don’t follow titles, they follow courage,” said William Wallace in Braveheart.
Unfortunately, things take awhile, don't they? The Stamp Act was passed in 1765.
The surrender by the Brits at Yorktown was in 1781.
If we start counting 16 years from 2020 and achieve victory by then, will you be happy? If I see that day, I'll be plenty old. But happy.
