A true statement.
"The reality is breakthrough cases are becoming more common".
Contradictory information.
"I had a breakthrough case of COVID-19 — despite my two shots of the Pfizer vaccine, the second one in April.
Not only was I sick, but I'd brought the virus home and exposed my 67-year-old father and extended family during my very first trip back to the East Coast since the start of the pandemic.
And my advice is different now when friends and family tell me they want to avoid having a breakthrough case like mine: Don't leave it all up to the vaccine. Wear masks, stay away from big gatherings with unvaccinated people, cut down on travel, at least until things calm down".
Misleading information.
"While there's not a lot of data yet, research does show that breakthrough infections can lead to the kind of persistent symptoms that characterize long COVID, including brain fog, fatigue and headaches. "Hopefully that number is low. Hopefully it doesn't last as long and it's not as severe, but it's just too early to know these things," says Topol.
Recent research from the U.K. suggests that vaccinated people are about 50% less likely to develop long COVID than those who are unvaccinated. The underlying cause of long COVID itself is still not yet known, so this complicates the picture for researchers even more, but this early evidence offers some reassurance".
So, breakthrough cases are more common.
Even though you may be vaccinated and can get the virus and bring it home to infect your vaccinated family you should stay away from unvaccinated people.
And finally, even though it's too early to know certain things about long covid and breakthroughs we know that vaccinated people are about 50% less likely to develop long COVID than those who are unvaccinated. But it's too early to know this.
>> Don’t leave it all up to the vaccine. Wear masks, stay away from big gatherings with unvaccinated people, cut down on travel, at least until things calm down.
What a #ing tool.
“”You probably would have gotten much sicker if you had not been vaccinated,” Dr. Francesca Torriani, an infectious disease physician at the University of California, San Diego, explained to me recently.”
Any legitimate research done would find that these shots aren’t doing anything but mess with peoples bodies.
The Delta Variant is the same as the original and nothing more than a made up boogeyman to cover up the lack of help from the shots.
That there’s absolutely no way to determine who infects who.
Some people get it. Some don’t. Some get it bad and die from it, unfortunately. Some don’t even know they have it.
Sad that folks continue to politicize it and try to make money off of it.
But I guess one would have to have a modicum of compassion for their fellow man, which is in very short supply these days.
I beat the covid first week of feburaury 2021. In the past 6 months 6 people that i have had contact with at work have had positive tests for kung flu. I have had a wonderfully healthy summer. I will never vaxx.
—> Of course, I am very lucky. I didn’t go up against the virus with a naive immune system, like millions of Americans did until vaccines were widely available.
It’s a religion with these idiots.
+80% of the world had and has long-term T cell immunity - or partial immunity which is perfected by exposure.
OK, lemme git this straight= the “vaccine” doesn’t protect you or your family, or anyone else from COVID, but I can lose my job if I don’t take it.
Sounds like another lie from the same people who brought you “if you like your plan, you can keep your plan...Illegal immigrants won’t get coverage, ... I am from the government, and I am here to help....
The same government that contracted with a Wuhan lab, for corona virus “research...”
Per the article:
The vaccines aren’t a forcefield that ward off all things COVID.
My response:
Then they are NOT vaccines. A vaccine provides immunity.
It would be impossible to imagine any greater # of people talking through their hats. Supposedly educated people talking like fools. Should have worn masks...masks don’t work, another study just came out proving once again what common sense would tell you. You would have been sicker if you hadn’t been vaccinated. Does this guy read sheep entrails too?
The writer never specified if he was taking the likes of Vitamin D3, etc. Or is there an assumption that once the injections were given, a person just doesn’t bother with it?
Just a obvious question ... why does the CDC have shoddy data .... are they incompetent? are the doing it on purpose to muddy the waters? after going on two years why are these so called experts still just sitting in circles and Jeffrey Toobin-ing each other?
Baffling, the amount of mental gymnastics it takes to coninue to sell the “vax” as effective.
Imagine if we were told, “The Polio vaccines aren’t a forcefield that ward off all things Polio. You still need to wear masks and social distance.”
He should’ve taken Ivermectin.
And a daily dose of things that make it very difficult for Covid to attach to a receptor colon zinc, D3, quercetin, vitamin C, melatonin, Pepcid
“You probably would have gotten much sicker if you had not been vaccinated.”
This is pure conjecture. Where’s the science behind this statement. How do we not know that the unvaccinated aren’t building up immunity from casual exposure?
Had it in January. Not vaxxed. Sniffles. Took about four months to get sense of taste back. Still have antibodies. Probably better immunity than vaxxed people.
Liberal progressives and Democrats reject anything that is natural or does not require FDA approval.
They are anti-organic fruits and vegetables and pro chicken and beef with hormones
They now especially favor GMO foods
I’ve heard stories from people in the last few days. An unvaccinatted lady I know got Covid from a recently vaxxed corworker. A covid ward nurse I know says almost all people coming to the hospital for covid are vaxxed now.
Gosh, my unvaccinated experience was 3 days. The only person I know who was sick with Covid recently is vaxxed and she had it hard for two weeks.
My question is - now that this breakthrough person has had the virus, will she be more immune …or not? Will she be more at risk for getting it again than me (a super naturally immune person)?
