The Afganiscrap debacle is the result of Trump Derangement Syndrome - that simple. Not only has Biteme reversed every good that Pres.Trump did, he broke the deal that Trump negotiated with the leader of the Taliban face to face.
Trump clearly stipulated to the now president of the IEA in no uncertain terms that if they break the deal, they would experience retribution like know country has seen, to paraphrase Pompeo who was there. Biteme moved the final pullout deadline to August 31 from Trump's May 1st which broke the deal. The Taliban had their opening to blitzkrieg against a pathetic army while their president ran.
IIRC, Trump's plan included evacuating all American citizens and loyal Afghanis first; a methodical withdraw of military; remove or destroy all US hardware and software; the Taliban would begin negotiations with neighboring countries. I believe even with everyone one out of A-crap, Trump said break the nation-to-nation negotiations off and here comes hell from the sky, or words to that effect.
Biteme had only to follow through on that deal and he would have been a hero instead of the dipshit who caused the Krash of Kabul. Of course, I include his handlers.
I'm believe I'm missing some points about Trump's deal.
If it was going to be done at all - the way Trump planned it - conditional withdrawal, keeping Bagram Airforce base instead of turning it over the CCP, not giving weapons to the terrorists who attacked us on 9/11, etc. That’s how, Joe - not simply reset the clock to 9/10/2001.
