Fact checking jokes can extend the humor of good jokes and prevent bad jokes from spreading false concepts. I want to conserve what value remains in old ideas. I’d also point out in this case the problem was not with the old (first faxes 1843) fax tech, but rather the new PCR tech, which the feds have said they’ll shut down in a couple months but are still using to crank out false positives.
