No right thinking Freeper whether vaccinated or not would approve of this. Your hyperbolic over the top rhetoric notwithstanding.
Clearly college administrators (as is anyone involved in professional sports and with K-12 teaching) are still so irrationally frightened and irretrievably ignorant of the communist chinese virus (i.e., “the flu” with a promoter) that they can no longer think straight. That is, fear has turned them into exceptional cowards and breathtakingly stupid people ... and they want — actually they demand — everyone around them behave as idiots and cowards. Examples abound.
It is not over the top. Plenty of people here are fine with it.
“Too bad. Go get another job.”
“So, start your own business.”
“That’s what you get for living there.”
“That’s what you get for going to university nowadays.”
“It’s called freedom, you commie sympathizer.”
Etc.
Fighting with them and posts like yours will never change their minds or hearts.
I’m vaccinated and support the choice of those who choose not to. We have freedom in America, at least for now.
Freedom is waning. Nurses, doctors, hospital workers, cops, firemen, large corporation cubicle slaves, etc. will be fired soon for not taking an unproven vaccine.
That’s not freedom.
Let's both mark this post and check back in oh, say six months and see how these policies are going.
My own employer (large multi-national bank) backpedaled in a big hurry recently when they got a lot of blowback ... and not just from those who won't get vaccinated. Faced with the loss of a lot of high-caliber I.T. talent, they relented.
When it comes down to it, we all stand for freedom. Well, still the majority of us anyway.
