Don’t be so sure.
I’ve seen many a female go mentally deranged at the drop of a hat. And they often drop the hat themselves.
A fella I know was trying to get out of his house during an argument with his wife. He had grabbed some clothes and was going to his parents house.
While trying to get by his deranged wife he had to put up his arm to shield his face, he had been clawed by her before. Doing so he made incidental contact with her shoulder, just a brush, no muscle behind it.
Neighbors had called the police who showed up just as he was exiting the house. The wife started screaming spousal abuse. After a very short “investigation” the man was arrested for spousal abuse.
Luckily for him, I guess, his 13 y/o daughter had recorded the incident on his phone.
Even with 3 witnesses for him, none for her, the recorded evidence and a total lack of bruising on her body the judge “let him off” with one year probation, a restraining order and anger management classes.
I spoke with an officer from that county later and he said anytime they are called on a domestic abuse call someone WILL be arrested. That came down from the political top.
As the men are usually the most cooperative and least violent they usually are the ones arrested.
Even 30 years ago there were women pushing the envelope because they knew people would take up for the poor defenseless woman. Then they would grin, snicker and play the poor little woman card as the men were carted off to jail.
Women know they have the law at their backs and they use it.
Another white person finds out black people don’t play by the same rules they do. In white world this PROBABLY wouldn’t have resulted in a fist fight.

He tries to push her away and she strikes him first.
Clearly you can see his right hand in her left
she pushes his hand away with the same hand that slapped him... look again.
he copped a feel and she slapped him.
WRONG.
You can’t get in somebody’s face like that. Too close for comfort. I’ll start throwing punches too.

She then slapped him.

I looked at the video. I looked like immediately before the slap, she was pushing his hand away from her torso region, as if he’d been trying to stick a finger in her chest or something similar, and her slap, which escalated the confrontation, was a reaction to that.
that is not what the video shows.
Regardless of what else you said I would ask the same question, would you ask that question if the shoe was on the other foot?
