It’s only been seven months, I’m definitely tired of it.
VERY broad brush strokes here but:
Men tend to base decisions on facts and reason.
Women tend to make decisions based of feelings.
Case in point, my ex, a MENSA member, would whinged on about Truth (you could hear the capital T when she spoke about Truth). Capital "T" Truth had nothing to do with actual facts, the NYT article about a nonexistent Harlem drug addict, was Truth, even though the author admitted she(!) created the sob story from thin air and there was no such person, nor was the poor *sob!* person based on any real person or persons.
That didn't matter because this totally fraudulent article was based on Truth, and that lie supported a higher Truth!
Plenty of stellar exceptions to the reason vs feelings dichotomy, but the rule of thumb is a valid place to start evaluating a statement. Just recognize it's a rule not a natural law!
No they are not. America still is not completely destoyed yet.
The America I grew up in is gone. Has been for some time.
as we all know, having a degree(s) does not necessarily mean the person has intelligence.
................................................
Why is it that people with advanced degrees seem unable to make commonsense judgments regarding issues that are outside their own area of expertise? That’s to be expected given the fact that these people spend most of their intellectual lives focused intensively and narrowly on the subject matter of their particular interest.
